Spirit Week

This week our Student Council is hosting the Spring Spirit Week. Each day the students will be participating in different Spirit Week themed days. Today is Hawaiian shirt day and tomorrow is dress like your favorite Super Hero. Be on the look out for pictures from our Spirit Week.

Student Council Spring Fling

Student Council and the staff are proud to announce that we are having a Spring Fling on Friday April 8th. The dance will be held in the cafeteria from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Student tickets will cost $15 and the dress is semi-formal. This Dance is only for our 8th and 9th grade students and no outside guests will be permitted. Tickets will go on sale on Monday March 21st and end on Friday April 1st. All tickets will be purchased during school lunches. Students who have received an out of school suspensions beginning on Tuesday, February 1st may be prohibited from attending the Spring Fling.

ROCK Winners

Congratulations to this week's prize winners! The following students had their names pulled to come and claim a prize. Congratulations Zah'nya Grove, Dylan Stewart, Nassir Short, Genesis Bradshaw and Stephen Andrey. We are proud of all our students for continuing to show Respect, Ownership, Courage, and Kindness.

Parent Conferences

Spring Parent Conferences are now being scheduled. Teachers will be reaching out to you for a conference as needed. If you feel that you would like to meet with a teacher please use the form below to sign up. Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday March 29th in the afternoon..

Rite Aid

SPOTlight News

Our next SpotLight meeting will be Thursday, March 31st at 7:00 pm in Intermediate High School Library. There will also be a Zoom link to attend if you would rather attend virtually. Mrs. Lamothe will send the link out closer to the date.


SpotLight will be sponsoring an end of the year celebration dance for our 8th grade students on Friday, May 13th from 6 to 8. More information to follow.

Upcoming PSSA and Keystone Schedule

Below are the dates for the upcoming PSSA and Keystone Testing in the Spring. This year only students who are assigned to take the yearly exams will be coming to school that day. The students who are not assigned to take a test that day will have a virtual day. They are expected to complete the assignments on their Teachers Canvas page. For example, when 8th grade is taking the PSSA test the 9th grade students will be at home on a virtual school day. Each student will be notified what days they are to attend for testing.

PEARLS Mentoring Club

Pearls is a mentoring group that educates, motivates, and inspires teenage females here at the Coatesville Area Intermediate and High School. The club is returning to in-person meeting and they meet evert Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in CASH's library. Please stop in for meeting and become a member.

Covid Testing

Just a friendly reminder that the Coatesville Area School District continues to offer COVID-19 testing to students who become symptomatic during school hours. Our school nurses have been trained in the administration of BinaxNOW Tests and Cue (PCR) Tests.

Please note that students must have completed parental consent form on file with school nurse in order to be eligible to participate in this voluntary testing program. Please download consent form. Participants must create personalized QR Test Code by following directions below.

Follow instructions on screen, which include answering questions about (child’s) demographic information to create personalized QR code.
